-This version of the Six Shooter has been manufactured with a 95.2mm center bore for a hub centric fit on the 2022+ Tundra and 2023+ Sequoia. You will not need to use any adapters or hub centric rings when installing these wheels on your 3rd gen Tundra or Sequoia.
– Many aftermarket wheel manufacturers offer their 17″ wheels with offsets that are too low for the 2022+ Tundra and 2023+ Sequoia so that they can achieve the necessary brake clearance to fit over the large brakes with which these vehicles come equipped, and/or they offer 17″ wheels which cannot be dynamically balanced due to the position of the wheel weights relative to the wheel’s drop center or barrel shape. The 17″ Six Shooter provides excellent clearance courtesy of a proprietary barrel design coupled with an offset that is tailored to fit the 3rd generation Sequoia/Tundra. We recommend that your installer uses any of the commonly available, low profile, stick-on wheel weights in 5 gram or .25 oz segments to balance your Six Shooters. The 17″ Six Shooter has ample barrel clearance to be dynamically (dual plane) balanced without any brake caliper interference so long as low profile weights are used to balance the wheels. This barrel design is an important feature since a proper wheel/tire balance is important to ensure a smooth ride and consistent tire wear.
-These Six Shooter wheels feature a robust load rating of 2,500lbs+ per wheel with a maximum tire diameter of 37″ as tested to the stringent SAE J-2530 standard all the while maintaining a relatively light wheel weight of approximately 26.7lbs per wheel. This feat has been made possible through the use of high purity A356-T6 aluminum alloy, an advanced flow form manufacturing technique, extensive R&D including finite element analysis and physical testing. Larger tire diameters contribute more stress and load onto the rim. Accessories add weight to the vehicle, which also increases the stress and load that the wheels are required to bear. No sacrifices or compromises were made when it came to ensuring the strength of this wheel. We took into consideration our customers who add bed racks, roof top tents, steel bumpers, and who wish to install 37″ diameter tires, and we engineered the Six Shooter accordingly. We then verified the load rating by testing to the industry’s strictest testing standard – SAE J2530. We are confident that you will not find a better fitting or higher quality 17″ wheel for these vehicles at anywhere near this price point.
-Small diameter lug nuts with a 60 degree conical taper are required for installation. Extended thread (ET) lug nuts are highly recommended.
